PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which surely prevents the abnormal operation of a fixing device, especially abnormal overheating. CONSTITUTION:In a copying device, a main heater and auxiliary heater for heating heat rollers 62a and 62b are controlled by a heater control circuit 74 so that the surface temperature of each of the rollers is maintained within a fixed range. The heater control circuit 74 includes a solid state relay 90, a main relay 92, and a thermostat, and is protected by an abnormal operation breaking circuit 80 including a photosensor 62c which detects light generated by each heater. Therefore, abnormal overheating by each heater accompanying abnormal operation of the heater control circuit 74, ignition of paper, etc., are surely prevented. |
