PURPOSE:To prolong the battery life for operating an electric apparatus, by controlling each switching means between a power line to the electric apparatus and a plurality of batteries. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal voltage of battery 2 and a terminal voltage of a battery 3 are equal to each other, a switching transistor 6 is turned on and switching transistors 11 and 12 are also turned on by a microcomputer 7 so that the power from the batteries 2 and 3 is not carried through a diode 4 or a diode 5 but directly fed to a system controller 1. When the terminal voltage of the battery 2 is higher than that of the battery 3, the switching transistor 11 is turned on and at the same time the switching transistor 12 is turned off by the microcomputer 7 so that the power from the battery 2 is not carried through the diodes 4 and 5 but directly fed to the system controller 1. As a result, the power is supplied without a decrease in voltage caused by the diode. |
