PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for skills in printing operation by positioning a press plate onto a table surface with a positioning stopper, moving a detection head in X and Y directions and detecting a registration mark and picture pattern information, and obtaining a mark position and a picture pattern area rate. CONSTITUTION:Positioning stoppers 4 and 5 contact the side edges in X and Y directions of a press plate for positioning by a protrusion projecting from a part on a table surface 3. A detection head 7 is provided with a mark detector 8 for detecting a registration mark 2 and a picture pattern detector 9 for measuring the quantity of light corresponding to the picture pattern in one piece and is moved in X and Y directions of the table surface 3 by a traveling means 12. Zero-point position sensors 24 and 25 detect the zero-point positions in X and Y directions of the detection head and a position detection means 26 detects the position of the detection head by a magnet scale. An operation means 32 calculates a mark position and a picture pattern area rate from the information of the sensors 24 and 25, the means 26, the detectors 8 and 9, prevents the mutual registration deviation of the press plate 1, and controls a printing machine so that an optimum ink supply can be maintained. |
