Tight container (3) constituted by a cover (4), a receptacle (5) and a fastening (6) joining them together. The receptacle (5) is subdivided into cavities by radiating partitions and it encircles the cover (2), whilst being offset with respect thereto. A key or wrench (63) makes it possible to rotate the radiating partitions and successively bring the cavities in front of the cover, so that it is possible to successively fill the same when the receptacle is rotating. Application to the putting away and transportation of solid nuclear waste.
