<p>In a gas separator, metal for separating gas is filled in the inside of small holes open in the surface of a porous base body so as to close them, wherebey there is no risk of a material gas leaking into a refined gas. A method for producing the gas separator comprises an activating process for immersing a porous base body having a pair of surfaces in a solution containing an activating metal while providing a certain difference in pressure between the pair of surfaces and a chemically plating process for causing a metal for separating gas to fill the inside of small holes open in the surfaces of the porous base body by chemically plating so as to close the same holes.</p> |
