<p>Novel methods are disclosed for the enhanced expression and secretion of lactase from filamentous fungi. Specifically the novel processes cause enhanced production of lactase from an Aspergillus and preferably enhanced production of A. oryzae lactase from A. oryzae host strains transformed with necessary DNA. Also described are the DNA sequence encoding the lactase gene from A. oryzae and the deduced amino acid sequence of the lactase therefrom.</p> |
