Sheet handling device using suction

摘要

The handling device is used to lift the top sheet from a sheet stack and transport it away using a lifting device (5) lowered into contact with the top sheet having a suction plate, selectively coupled to the suction source. The raised sheet is transferred to a transport device (4), coupled to the vacuum source in alternation with the lifting device. The suction plate of the lifting device is raised above the level of the sheet transfer between the lifting device and the transport device after transfer of the sheet to the latter, e.g. via a resetting spring.
