The element comprises two angled quadrilaterals (3,4)with a short opposing inwards-directed struts (5,5) on their lateral sides, as well as a long outward connecting strut (6,6). Short inwards connecting struts (7-16) on the long sides respectively increase (7,9) in curvature and decrease in curvature (8,10) starting from the short connecting strut (5). The interval between the two sets of struts (7,9 and 8,10) reaches a minimum (11) inside the quadrilateral and the two vertical legs (2,2) on the long struts (6,6) are longer than the legs (1,1) on the short struts (5,5). Short and long struts (5,6) are identical in curvature as against struts (7,8,9,10) and/or legs (1,2) which are designed as metal cylinders, wires and/or profiles. The hollow element overall lies open to the sides and has walls or coverings etc. between the struts (7-10) and the legs (1,2).
