Vacuum=operated plate handling device

The vacuum lifting and handling device has two wagons (6, 7) which can move along common guides rails (1). Each wagon has a carrier fitted with suction plates (10, 11). The carrier of each wagon is composed of several beams (8, 9) which overhang on one side. The beams of the two wagons have their free ends towards each other, and offset from each other sideways. The beams are horizontal, and the beams of both wagons are in the same horizontal plane. The suction plates can be adjusted in height relative to the beams. They may be on adjustable vertical shafts.
