Work gloves are repaired when worn by washing or cleaning then repair material is applied manually or by machine at the places requiring repair. The repair material consists of a pasty mixture of liquid plastic and natural or synthetic fibres. Fibres are obtained from cut-resistant textile material by milling or other suitable process. The mixture can be coloured to match the colour of the material being repaired.
