Clothes hanger with height=adjustable hook

The bottom end of the hanger (11) is enclosed by a clamp (12) which can be fixed in a number of positions and has U-shaped form with two flexible legs (12a), each furnished inside with notch-in noses (14,15). The clamp is placed on the hanger from above, each leg to have two noses, one (15) at the bottom and the other (14) halfway up. The noses thus grasp the hanger from below and are here bevelled (14a,15a). The hanger is radiused to the sides above and the two legs of the clamp are prevented from spreading outwards by means of a U-shaped hook which rises inwards off the bottom ends of the legs. The legs of the preferably U-shaped hanger (11) fit inside the spread-prevention hook and the hanger and clamp are fitted at their interface with lengthways projections or indentations etc. The hanger is prevented from slipping lengthways by means of a device (16), using metal hanger hook (13) and plastics hanger and clamp, of which the clamp is simply sprayed onto the hook (13).
