The nozzle for an arc welding gun incorporates a cylindrical main casing (22) and a welding wire holder (23) screwed into a wire supply unit (20) so that an annular passage (34) running to the open end of the main casing is formed between the main casing and the welding wire holder. The nozzle additionally incorporates a fluid supply unit (24) which is located outside the main casing, and serves for supplying the fluid towards the open end of the main casing. The gun forms part of an arc welding machine which incorporates a control unit, a welding wire supply unit and a gas storage system.
