Release agent for vulcanising rubber prods. with expansion bellows

A release agent (I) for application to the rubber and/or to the bellows when vulcanising rubber blanks in moulds with an expansion bellows contains at least (a) water, (b) foam suppressant, e.g. grease, oil or polyglycols, (c) lubricant, e.g. graphite and associated wetting agents such as soaps, etc., and/or a silicone emulsion, (d) inert filler to produce a rough surface, e.g. silica, and (e) thiophilic cpds. (II). Also claimed is a process for the prodn. of vulcanisable rubber articles by making a blank, inserting an expansion bellows and coating the blank and/or the bellows with (I), at least on the parts which come into contact with one another.
