The hydraulic control device has a hydraulic oil container and a hydromotor for the rope winch together with a pump in the oil feed conduit to the hydromotor. A pressure limiting valve, a pressure switch and a proportional throttle (12) in the oil outflow conduit from the hydromotor are provided. The oil feed conduit and the oil outflow conduit are connected to one another by a check valve (15) and in the oil outflow conduit after the proportional throttle a pressure limiting valve (14) is located.
