Stair arrangement in double=decked rail vehicle

The stair arrangement has a support (14), which is pref. of elliptical shape. The support is located between the upper deck (1) and lower deck stairs (2). It is displaced away from the longitudinal axis (2) of the carriage in the direction of the upper deck stairs. The support conforms to the inner contour of the gently winding upper and lower deck, and serves simultaneously as a fastening element for the inner handrail (15).
