Curved track dependent controlling of railway wagon body

The railway wagon or carriage body tilts inwards when vehicle is negotiating a curve in the track. A transverse shift of a bogie bolster is superimposed on the rotational movement of the wagon body around a deep-lying real rotational axis (8) so that an instantaneous rotational axis (20) is located above the floor (10) of the wagon. The rotational movement is coupled to the transverse shift by levers (6,7). For transverse movement of the bolster pendulum members (4,5) are provided, which, during tipping and simultaneous transverse swinging, create restoring forces. They guide the wagon body back into a non-tipped middle position.
