<p>A dripless caulk gun which has a biased spring drive (40) and a plunger (32) that presses against an inside piston (54) of a caulk tube (12) to dispense material is disclosed. The flexible rim (36) about the plunger end (62) creates a seal with the inside of the caulk tube (12), which creates a partial vacuum when the plunger (32) is retracted. This vacuum acts on the tube piston (54) to cause partial refraction, and this thus eliminates the pressure on the caulk inside the tube (12) to effectively end the dispensing of material from the tube (12).</p> |
