<p>PURPOSE:To permit the burying of an electric resistance wire into a coupling easily upon forming the coupling by a method wherein the ends of an electric resistance element wire, covered with glass fiber insulating layer, and another electric resistance element wire, not covered, are pulled out to form the shape of a flat plate while neighboring electric resistance wires are connected integrally. CONSTITUTION:An electric resistance wire 1, consisting of an electric resistance element wire 3 covered with a glass fiber insulating layer 2, and another electric resistance wire 4, not covered which are in parallel covered with a thermoplastic resin layer 5 integrally, is wound spirally on a plane so that the electric resistance element wires 3, 4 are positioned alternately. Simultaneously, the electric resistance element wires 3, 4 are connected at the beginning end of the winding of the electric resistance wire 1 thereof. Then, the other ends of the electric resistance element wires 3, 4 are formed so as to be a flat plate pulled out of the outer peripheral side whereby neighboring electric resistance wires 1 are connected integrally to form a heater retaining the configuration of integrally connected flat plate. According to this method, the electric resistance wires can be handled as a unit body upon forming a coupling.</p> |
