An appts. automatically supplies and removes full reels or empty cases in a textile machine having one or two more hanging car trains (15) with suspension holders (17). Here at least one fixed sensor unit (29) with one sensor (31, 32) min. is connected to an analytical unit (33) for monitoring presence or absence or the condition of each reel and case hanging on individual suspension holders in a car train both before and after the changing procedure. The sensor unit is located on the train track outside the interchange positions of the first and last suspension holders. The analyser (33) compares signals from the sensors via the sensor unit with nominal information fed into or already stored in the analyzer which produces an error signal when an unacceptable deviation is detected. Also claimed is a spinning mill machine having the above appts. Further claimed is a roving frame (1) with at least one row of flyers (9) placed on a flyer rail (7) where a hanging car train with reels or cases travels between the flyers.
