<p>PURPOSE:To search opening parts of branch pipes exactly from main pipe side by transmitting level detection signal showing signal level change of detected resonance signals. CONSTITUTION:Fist of all, water stoppers 10,... are set to each branch pipe A,... and a signal processor 12 is turned to an oscillating mode of oscillation signal and therewith a position searcher marker 19 of the water stoppers 10 receives the oscillation signal from a searcher loop antenna 11, to oscillate resonance signal. Subsequently, a device 12 is switched to resonance signal detection mode and when the device 12 gets close to the water stoppers 10 again, the resonance signal from the marker 19 is received by the antenna 11 and sent to the device 12, to be detected there. generating circuit of level detection signal of the device 12 generates level detection signal based on that, and outputs to a speaker 24 to identify position of the water stoppers 10 along to axial direction of a main pipe. After that, when the antenna 11 is moved along to circumferential direction of the main pipe B, signal level of the received resonance signals grows up as the antenna 11 is getting closer to the marker 19 and hits the maximum point. By this procedure, an existing point of the marker 19 in circumferential direction of the main pipe, is identified, and therefore the position of the water stopper 10 is successfully searched.</p> |
