<p>A glass forming apparatus of the press-and-blow type comprising a press moulding station and a plurality of blow moulding stations, the apparatus being provided with transfer means 12, 13 adapted to transfer a hollow blank from the press moulding station to a blow moulding station and to rotate the hollow blank about its vertical axis, and/or provided with a retractable gob deflector (11a, figs 2,3) adapted to receive a glass gob from a gob feeder and to deflect the glass gob into the blank mould, and/or provided with a blow mould (18, figs 2, 3) comprising two or more mould parts (18a, 18b, figs 2, 3) and adapted to open or close by relative linear movement of the two or more mould parts. <IMAGE></p> |
