<p>A tracheotomy cannula comprising an inner and an outer tube (1, 11), a ring element (20, 30, 40) as a holding device, and a speech valve (50). The ring element (20, 30, 40) is provided with slots (23, 33, 42) wherein the flange (3) of the outer tube is releasably engaged. The advantage of using a ring element rather than a plate is that the contact area between the ring element and the skin is considerably less, which improves the hygiene of using the tracheotomy cannula. Furthermore, the ring element is more slender than a plate, which means that the tracheotomy cannula is less conspicuous in use. <MATH> <MATH></p> |
