PURPOSE:To provide an immersion nozzle for continuous casting improved in erosion resistance to mold powder. CONSTITUTION:In this immersion nozzle for continuous casting, zirconia-graphite material containing 50-90wt.% CaO stabilized zirconia raw material composed of <=0.30wt.% silica, 0-30wt.% baddeleyite raw material, and satisfying 60-90wt.% in total of CaO stabilized zirconia raw material and beddeleyite raw material, and further containing 10-35wt.% graphite raw material is arranged at the position in contact with molten mold powder. |
