PURPOSE:To provide a device generating fixed torque of a roller in a lengthy object processing device. CONSTITUTION:A reference roller 2a and a follow-up roller following this reference roller are provided in a lengthy object processing device 1, so as to drive the reference roller 2a by an induction motor 4 also so as to drive the follow-up roller 2c by a torque motor 5. The induction motor 4 and the torque motor 5 are respectively invterter-driven, also to frequency-control both inverter drive parts 6a, 6b by a common speed setter 7, and also to torque-control the inverter drive part 6b of the torque motor 5 by a torque setter 8 setting a torque value. |
