<p>PURPOSE:To shorten punching time, to improve quality of working and to reduce noise by raising/lowering a ram twice through one going and returning of a forward/backward moving member, making a reciprocating driving mechanism a crank mechanism using a servo motor and thereby performing a high- speed punching. CONSTITUTION:The punch driving device 13 is to impart a crooking motion to a crooking lever 18, which raises/lowers a ram 14 by a crooking motion, with a member 19 that is freely movable forwards and backwards horizontally; the forward/backward moving member 19 is driven by a crank type reciprocating driving device 20 with a servo motor 21 used as its driving source. While the forward/backward moving member 19 makes one going and returning of the reciprocating motion, a ram 14 repeats a raising/lowering motion twice, giving a punching motion twice by a punching tool 6. Since the forward/ backward moving member 19 is driven by a crank 22, the maximum speed is attained in the middle of the stroke, and the speed is thereby maintained high near the bottom dead point where the punching tool 6 penetrates a work, enabling a high-speed punching. In addition, the driving source is the servo motor 21, it facilitates control over the speed and position.</p> |
