摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain inexpensive mass-productivity, excellent mechanical strength and good appearance by a method wherein a plurality of reinforcing fibers are passed through phenolic resin solution, containing liquid phenolic resin, a filler and other additive and, thereafter, the impregnated material is passed through a heating mold to effect pultrusion. CONSTITUTION:Phenolic resin, employed for the pultrusion method of fiber- reinforced phenolic resin, is made by a method wherein resorcinol constituent and phenol resol resin are reacted under the existence or non-existence of alkaline catalyst, then, viscosity of a mixture is reduced by the product of reaction, which has pH 4-10, further, methylene donner, having the increasing effect of a crosslinking density, is added, then, a filler and additive are contained. Continuous reinforcing fibers, such as glass fibers and the like, which are formed on a robbin, for example, are allined to pass a resin impregnating tank to impregnate phenolic resin solution containing liquid phenolic resin, filler and other adders and draw excessive resin, then, the phenolic resin is cured by passing a mold and, thereafter, is formed by pultrusion continuously.
