<p>PURPOSE:To provide an insulated section profile whose space between members forming the section profile can be used as a vent or an passage of electrical equipment, and a method for manufacturing the section profile. CONSTITUTION:In an insulated section profile 1, a sheet-like insulating resin foaming body 2 is stuck to a part 3b to be insulated of a section profile 3. For the insulating resin foaming body 2, a crosslinked polyethylene foaming body or a modified asphalt resin having damping property is desirable. As for a method for manufacture the insulated section profile 1, when the section profile 3 is of aluminum, the sheet-like insulating resin 2 in which a foaming agent is kneaded is placed on the part 3b to be insulated of the aluminum section profile 3, the temperature of the whole aluminum section profile 3 is raised, the insulating resin 2 is foamed and dissolved so as to stuck to the aluminum section profile 3.</p> |
