PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A NITRILE RESIN HAVING A GOOD IMPACT RESISTANCE

emulsion polymerising 10-30 wt.% the mixt. of unsatd. nitrile monomer and alkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon monomer; then opt continuously emulsion polymerising the residual unsatd. nitrile and alkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon in the condition of no more than 6% of the unsatd. nitrile among the producted polymer to termination of the polymerisation. The process is processed in the presence of rubber latex. The obtd. resin has excellent chemical resistance and good workability and impact resistance.
