The method comprises passing a vinyl sheet between a pin roll(10) and a rubber roll(9) to contact one surface of the sheet with surface of pin roll(10) and other surface of the sheet with the rubber roll(9). Pins(10') of the pin roll forms ventilating holes of the vinyl sheet. An infrared rays heater(11) installed around of the pin roll, heats the pins(10') to melt the vinyl sheet, and the pin roll is heated to the softening temperature of the vinyl sheet in advance. The obtained vinyl sheet with ventilating holes is used in manufacture of shoes.
