STEREOTAXIC RADIOTHERAPY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide a stereotaxic radiotherapy system capable of easily and quickly recognizing a shift from accurate site of a lesion by locating a spherical mirror against a body to be examined between the light source to irradiate laser light and the isocenter and a projection board to project the reflection light from the spherical mirror between the light source and the spherical mirror. CONSTITUTION:The light axis of a laser light 20 irradiated toward the perpendicular direction from a laser light device 12 is set so as to pass through an isocenter A. A sphere position indicator 11 fixed on a patient fixing jig 7 is adjusted so that the center point of a spherical mirror 11A coincides with the tumor P of the patient 8. The laser light 20 is injected to the spherical mirror 11A to display the position and the reflected light from this position is injected to the projection board 13 and the position of the board 13 where the laser light is injected is displayed on an irregular reflection face CC'. Then, the position of reflected light displayed on the irregular reflection face CC' and the position of the slit 21 the laser light 20 passed through are photographed with a TV camera 14. The image data by the TV camera 14 are inputted into an image data processor and a position reader to read out the position in the image.
