PURPOSE:To provide a plate-like cushioning material which easily fits a shape of a matter to be protected and has high efficiency in conveying work. CONSTITUTION:A plate-like cushioning material 1 comprises an upper layer 3 consisting of a foamed polyethylene, a lower layer 4 consisting of a cork material, and a double-sided tape 5. The bottom face of the upper layer 3 and the upper face of the lower layer 4 are connected by an adhesive. To the bottom face of the lower layer 4, the double-sided tape 5 is stuck. In the plate-like cushioning material 1, a plurality of notches 7 which are cut by a cutter are formed longitudinally and latitudinally ranging from the surface of the upper layer 3 to this side of the bottom face of the lower layer 4. The lower layer 4 has a connecting part 8 without notches 7. The plate-like cushioning material 1 does not come apart owing to the connecting part 8, thereby retaining the plate-like shape. |
