POLLUTED WATER FILTERING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To make clogging hard to generate while easily performing washing in the subject apparatus by providing a filter material between the intake port and drain port respectively provided to the intermediate part and upper part of a main body and setting the space under the filter material to a pollutant sedimentation chamber. CONSTITUTION:An intake port 13 is provided to the side surface of a main body 11 just above the lower conical part thereof and a drain port 14 opened to the outside is provided to the apex of the upper conical shape of the main body 11. A stepped part 22 is provided to the part above the intake port 13 of the main body 11 so as to become slightly large in diameter to provide a filter material holding plate 19. The pollutant sedimentation chamber 18 under the filter material 12 in the main body 11 is a space where the relatively heavy pollutant in the water to be filtered taken in from the intake port 13 is settled. The water to be filtered after the completion of the sedimentation of the relatively heavy pollutant in this space passes through the filter material to remove a suspended relatively light pollutant and the filtered water is drained from the drain port 14.
