PURPOSE:To prevent the fusion of an ink ribbon to printing paper not subjected to release treatment or printing paper low in release treatment degree by adding a releasable resin to an ink layer as a binder. CONSTITUTION:A sublimation thermal transfer ink ribbon for forming a color image has such a structure that an ink layer 2 (yellow ink layer Y, magenta ink layer M, cyan ink layer C) and a laminate layer 3 are formed on a base material 1 in surface sequence. In this case, a black ink layer BE may be provided between the cyan ink layer C and the laminate layer 3. In the case of a black monochromatic sublimation thermal transfer ink ribbon, the black ink layers BK and the laminate layers 3 may be alternately arranged. A releasable resin is used as the binder of the ink layer 2. |
