PURPOSE:To enhance the radiation efficiency of a thermal head and to reduce the thickness of the title apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer recording apparatus is equipped with a thermal head 1, the fan 5 arranged on the lateral side of the thermal head 1, the heat sink 3 of which the rear surface is bonded to the back surface of the thermal head 1, the wind guide 6 bonded to the surface of the heat sink 3 at one end thereof and extended to the fan 5 at the other end thereof and the ink cassette 11 of which one cylindrical part is arranged between the thermal head 1 and the fan 5 in such a state that an air guide space is formed between the wind guide 6 and the cassette 11. The fan 5 is obliquely attached with respect to the wind guide 6 so as to be turned to the wind guide 6 and the air guide space. |
