PURPOSE:To obtain the subject highly economical member significantly improved in the shock absorbing ability of shock absorber(s) provided at the impact- generating or impact-transmitting part(s), consisting of a polymer composition comprising a low-molecular weight material-holding composite and polymeric material. CONSTITUTION:This member consists of a polymer composition comprising (A) a low-molecular weight material-holding composite composed of (1) a low- molecular weight material having a viscosity of <=5X10<5>cp (pref. <=1X10<5>cp) at 100 deg.C and esp. pref. <=5000 in numberaverage molecular weight and (2) a medium material such as a thermoplastic polymeric compound with the solubility parameter difference between the components (1) and (2) <=3.0 and (B) a polymeric material pref. consisting mainly of a thermosetting material with the solubility parameter difference between the components (1) and B <=4.0 and the weight ratio (1)/B of >=0.5.
