PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer-coated metal laminate adapted for a metal can in which impact resistance and taste characteristics are excellently compatible by coating a polyester layer having a specific melting point obtained by mixing ethylene glycol, butanediol residue, telephthalic acid residue and isophthalic acid residue at specific molar ratio by extrusion laminating. CONSTITUTION:A layer formed of polyester having a melting point of 120-265 deg.C obtained by mixing ethylene glycol residue and butanediol residue at a molar ratio of 20:80-95:5 and terephthalic acid residue and isophthalic acid residue at a molar ratio of 50:50-100:0 is covered by extrusion laminating. That is, in order to extrusion laminate the polyester having a specific melting point in which the ethylene glycol and butanediol are introduced on metal, in the case of molding to manufacture a can, excellent impact resistance is obtained even via many heat history such as heat treatment in the can forming step and retorting after the can forming. |
