PURPOSE:To prevent the water-scattering of dew condensation from a cold air duct to a car room in an air conditioner for a vehicle, in which a cooling unit is accommodated in a cold air duct. CONSTITUTION:The lower part of a blow-off port 6e of a plurality of blowers 6, which are arranged in parallal with an evaporator 4 of a cooling unit 3 accommodated in a cold air duct 2, is connected to a shroud 5, which is situated at the downstream side of the evaporator 4, by means of a drain pipe 11 that is freely expandable in an axial direction. A drain hole 5a is made at the bottom of the shroud 5. With this, the dew condensation, which stays underneath the blow-off port 6e and which causes water-scattering, passes through the drain pipe 11, while the blower 6 rotates, to be discharged from the drain port 5a of the shroud 5. |
