PURPOSE:To restrain damage to the surface of a disc and deflection of the surface of the disc by retractable providing an air blow guide spaced from the disc by a close distance, on the front surface side of the disc facing a disc attitude regulating guide. CONSTITUTION:An air blow guide 8 blows air 9 onto the front surface of a disc 1 in a direction substantially orthogonal to a disc abutting surface 7. Accordingly, the disc 1 is pressed toward a disc attitude regulating guide 5 by the pressure of the blown air 9 so that the rear surface side of the disc 1 is made into close contact with the disc abutting surface 7 of the disc attitude regulating guide 5, and as a result, the disc 1 is regulated so as to take a normal attitude. In this condition, a chuck 4 at the distal end of a spindle 3 locks and holds the inner edge of a locking hole 2 in the disc 1, and accordingly, the disc 1 is fixed to the spindle 3 while it is held in the normal attitude. |
