<p>PURPOSE:To provide a new specific azapeptide derivative having antagonistic action on the neurokinin A receptor of a tachykinin-group neuro-peptide and useful as an agent for the treatment of neurogenic inflammation of respiratory organ, asthma, bronchial spasm, etc. CONSTITUTION:This new azapeptide derivative having antagonistic action on neurokinin A (NKA) receptor and useful as an agent for the treatment of neurogenic inflammation of respiratory organ, asthma, bronchial spasm, etc., is expressed by formula [A is direct bond or a residue of an alpha-amino acid or a dipeptide; R<1> is H or a protecting group of terminal amino group; R<2> is a (substituted)phenyl; R<3> is protecting group of hydroxyl group or terminal carboxyl group]. The compound can be produced either by a liquid-phase process or by a solid-phase process commonly used in peptide chemistry using an alpha-aza- amino acid such as alpha-aza-phenylalanine or alpha-aza-tyrosine as the C-terminal amino acid.</p> |
