ULTRASONIC DOPPLER BLOODSTREAM METER

PURPOSE:To provide a smooth image from which noise data is removed by substituting a sample point largely influenced by a noise with a value based on a bloodstream information value of a nearby sample point by a space filter to determine bloodstream information at an aiming sample point from bloodstream information at an aiming sample point and a nearby sample point. CONSTITUTION:In an ultrasonic two dimensional Doppler bloodstream meter to display the bloodstream distribution in a living body by superimposing it on a black and white two dimensional tomographic image in response to a color, the meter is provided with a space filter 20 to perform filter processing by receiving data related to bloodstream information data (speed, echo intensity or the like). This space filter 20 is composed of memories 21a to 21c to output data on an aiming sample point and a sample point adjacent to it, a selector controller 22 to select filter output by inputting speed data and echo intensity data and weighted mean computing elements 24a to 24c or the like. Respective bloodstream informations at the aiming sample point and the sample point adjacent to it are compared with each other, and bloodstream information of the aiming sample point is determined.
