PURPOSE:To prevent the revolution in the circumferential direction of a circular hole of a cutter body planted in the circular hole formed on the cutter body of a roller cutter. CONSTITUTION:A square-shaped projection 3c on the front surface view projects from the basic end surface 3b of a cutter body 3 in the basic end direction along the axis line P of the cutter body 3. In this case, the cross point of the diagonal lines of the projection 3c is positioned on the above-described axis line P, and the side surfaces of the opposed pair among four side surfaces of the projection 3c are set in parallel or at a certain angle for the plane including the ridge side part 3a. While, on the bottom surface 2a of a circular hole 2 formed at the cutting top part 1a, in particular, at the position opposed to the projection 3c in the case where the cutting body 3 is made coaxial with the circular hole 2 and the ridge side parts 1c and 3a are set parallel, a recessed part 2b which has a square shape on the front surface view similarly to the projection 3c and is set in the basic end direction along the axis line Q of the circular hole 2 is formed. Accordingly, the projection 3c and the recessed part 2b can be fitted only in the case when the cutter body 3 is set coaxial with the circular hole 2 and press-fitted into the circular hole 2 in the state where the ridge side parts 1c and 3a are set in a parallel set state. |
