The lock consists of a pivoted and spring-loaded catch (16) in each of the slat guide channels (11,12) which engages with an aperture (17) in the end of a slat (4). The catch is located in the middle of the guide channel, and the slat with the aperture to engage with it is located in the middle of the blind when it is in its fully down position. The catch is in the form of a lever and is spring-loaded by elastic strips (23,24) which cause the catch to press against the blind as it comes down and retract as it is raised. |
