The invention relates to a mounting system for pipes (1a, 1b, 1e, 1f, 1g, 1h, 1i, 1j) and/or fittings (1c, 1d) to be joined by welding in a subsequent operation. One has aimed at providing a mounting system securing a mechanically reliable connection between the pipes and/or fittings included in a pipe system, and wherein the mounting system is maintained erected during the welding which, thus, may be carried out as so-called quantity-welding. At this end, the mounting system distinguishes itself by comprising clamps (2, 2') designed and shaped to be fixed on pipes and/or fittings to be included in a pipe system, said clamps each being positioned adjacent a (half) welding groove (10), and intermediate, flexible members (14) possessing tensile strength, such as chains, wires or the like, extending between clamps (2, 2') on various, adjacent pipes/fittings, said flexible members (14) possessing tensile strength, are tensionable in mounted condition. |
