The box is made from a cardboard blank comprising a flap (3) with a hole (23), a front internal wall (4), a lower wall (5), a rear wall (6), an upper wall (7) and an external front wall (8). These adjoining walls are folded on five ribbed lines (9,10,11,12,13). A pair of lower side walls (16) adjoin the lower wall, a pair of rear side walls (17) adjoin the rear wall and a pair of upper side walls (18) adjoin the upper wall (7) by a pair of ribbed lines (14). A centre (31) is located at the intersection of the pair of ribbed lines with one of the five ribbed lines. A pair of front internal side flaps (15) adjoin the internal front wall. Each flap is limited by the segment of the pair of ribbed lines and by a slit (19) separating it from one of the lower side walls (16). A free edge (28) separates the centre from the first ribbed line (9) as far as a second projecting edge (29).
