Cosmetics compsns for topical use contain, in a suitable carrier, (i) 1,4-di(3-methylidene-10-campho-sulphonic) benzene acid (I), opt (partly) neutralised, as first filter and (ii) 2-ethylhexyl alpha-cyano-beta,beta-diphenyl acrylate (II) as second filter, with (I) and (II) in proportions to give synergistic activity.
