摘要	Proposed is a method of forming bulges in flat-shaped articles made of aramide, in particular textile fabrics made of aramide fibres, the bulges being produced by moulding within the temperature range 180-300 DEG C and the machine-pressure range 4-8 bar (400-800 kPa). The textile fabrics shaped in this way are particularly suitable for use in the manufacture of ballistic-protection clothing for women and in the manufacture of ballistic-protection helmets. The effectiveness of the protection against bullets and shell fragments is unaffected by the moulding process.
