Device for refinishing car wind=screen wiper blades

A device with two clamping bars (5,6) for the wiper blade (14) in the gap (8) between them. Parallel to the bar rear surfaces is a travelling knife (13) moving down the gap to give new edges to the wiper blade. A bar (9) with an accurate groove (10) is located behind the knife and is placed over the gap. It provides a stop against which the wiper blade abuts before the clamping bars are tightened so that the knife cut is accurate. Instead of a knife, a laser beam may be used, or even a grinding wheel. The location bar can be exchanged for others with grooves of different depths.
