The machine has a stop component (5) attached on the lower end of at least one support rod. For height positioning of the stop component, it is height-adjustable in the bearing bushes (10) of the table fixture (9) forming a guide. For depth positioning of the stop component the guide is adjustable on the table at right-angles to the workpiece advance unit. The table fixture (9) on the woodworking machine is connected to the work table by an adjustment and guide unit.
