Broaching tool on machine tool

The broaching tool incorporates a support element (2) formed by a tensioning wire core. In the axial direction it is under an invariable tension. With operation of the tool, the cutting elements (3), with a pressure corresponding at least to the cutting resistance, are held against each other, and also against the tool head (1) and pull-end section (4). With the broaching tool assembled, the support element is tensioned within the limits of its elasticity.
