Dryer for printing plate

The printing plate is processed through the wet process stages after exposure with a final fluid rubber coating. The plate is then passed horizontally through the dryer, image side uppermost. The dryer has a warm air blower (31) between clastic star shaped drive wheels (6) and with absorbing rollers following the warm air drying to remove excess fluid. The drying process has alternate warm air blowers and absorbing rollers to provide and even rapid drying in a compact drying stage. The temperature of the warm air can be kept to a minimum.
